On 31^st January Nu Civilisation Orchestra took to the stage of the Royal Festival Hall for Mississipi Goddamn, A Celebration of Nina Simone, as part of the Southbank Centre’s Montreux Jazz Festival residency.
 
Featuring a 47-piece line-up lead by Musical Director Peter Edwards, the orchestra was joined on stage by vocalists Corinne Bailey Rae, China Moses, Laura Mvula, Ni Maxine, and Tony Njoku.
