25 January THE SOUNDS OF CTI RECORDS, Ronnie Scott’s, LONDON (two shows – doors at 5.30pm and 8pm)

A journey through the sounds of CTI Records, possibly one of the most influential jazz labels of all time.

16 April BLACK SAINT & THE SINNER LADY, Brick Lane Jazz Festival, LONDON

An exploration of one of the great jazz pioneer’s most extraordinary albums, Charles Mingus: Black Saint and The Sinner Lady.

Tomorrow’s Warriors co-founder, bassist, and Artistic Director of Nu Civilisation Orchestra, Gary Crosby OBE explains, ‘Black Saint and The Sinner Lady is Mingus pouring fire and energy into his arrangements – undeniably dark, provocative, and sensual.
