As Tomorrow’s Warriors’ flagship professional ensemble, Nu Civilisation Orchestra (NCO) provides a trusted progression pathway for talent from diverse backgrounds into professional careers in music.

A pioneering, Black-led jazz orchestra, NCO strives to increase representation in the orchestral setting among Black and ethnically diverse musicians and women. With 50% of the orchestra being female, including our section leaders, NCO is breaking boundaries for its musicians, many of whom have come through the Tomorrow’s Warriors talent development programme.

We need £200,000 a year to run and tour the NCO, to help us maintain the high standards that you hear and see from the concert platform and to provide visibility and access to the diverse artists, musicians and musical directors who can inspire the next generation. You can support us from as little as £5 per month or join one of our Nu Civilisation Orchestra Membership Programmes.

Donations are held by Tomorrow’s Warriors Trust (Charity No 1153613) and restricted for use solely by and for Nu Civilisation Orchestra

NCO Membership offers a range of opportunities to invest in the future development and success of the orchestra all the way up to sponsoring a Section Leader or Musician’s seat, a new music commission or the orchestra’s community outreach work.
